Tasty Traditions – Community Display

August 10 - August 31

Free

Food brings people together!

August is Family History Month. To celebrate, Richmond Library would like to see your traditional family recipes!

Bring in a copy of your traditional family recipe. If possible, bring a copy of the original, e.g., handwritten or typed. Include a couple of sentences describing where this recipe comes from and why it is significant to your family.

For example; Aunty Di would cook this crumble every Christmas when we had family reunions at Tōtaranui, or; I remember Mum used to make this soup on cold rainy days when we’d been out in the orchard – she was really particular about pre charring the cauliflower!

We will add these recipes to our ‘Tasty Traditions’ display for the community to read in the Richmond Library during August.
