In the digital era, boundaries between genres such as nonfiction, poetry and fiction are becoming blurred and uncertain.
This workshop will look at the development of what is known as the ‘life poem’, as practised by poets like Rachel Blau Duplessis in her ‘Drafts’ project. We will explore ways in which we write our lives into the poem and create and consider poems with this theme in mind.
Open to poets and writers of all levels, but places are limited to 12.
Cliff invites anyone who signs up for the workshop to submit a poem which he will read and give feedback on.
Cliff Fell is an award-winning poet and experienced teacher of creative writing.
